Ramadan is one of the holiest months of the Islamic calendar. A period of deep spiritual reflection, it is when Muslims around the world fast during daylight hours and abstain from drinking, eating or engaging in sexual relations for the duration of their fast. Eid al-Fitr signifies the end of Ramadan and is celebrated during the first three days of Shawwāl, the 10th month of the Islamic calendar.

If you're looking to send greetings to loved ones during Ramadan, we've gathered a selection of Ramadan quotes and wishes to share with family and friends. In our list below, you'll find inspiring and comforting quotes plus messages perfect to write inside cards and alongside gifts.

While Muslims speak many different languages, you'll find all messages below in English.
