This Beper pillow sized massager is a good size and is deceptively powerful. It has four massaging heads that turn both clockwise and anti-clockwise and delivers a real punch in terms of getting deep into your muscles. If you prefer a more gentle massage, then this is not for you as it's also quite noisy.
There is a thick elastic band on the rear which can be used to position it in your car, or even attach to the back of a chair so you can massage the buttock area (useful if you have sciatica) as you can't really sit directly on the device.
Great for use in the car on long journeys, but it can be a tad distracting so it's a good idea to get it all set up and running to your liking before you drive off. There is a 15-minute auto shut-off so you don't over-tax your muscles, but I found it so powerful, a 15-minute session was enough!
It says it is suitable for neck, back and legs. I used it on my back in various positions and on the back of my legs above the knee and also in the car but it's quite powerful on your neck - you really need to get it in just the right position in order for it not to aggravate rather than relax!
It is not a 'pillow' in the sense of the word, just pillow-sized. It would be good if it came with different settings; just the one which is quite powerful is a bit limiting but this is reflected in the price.
The only real downside I can see is it's rather tricky to put together the plug for UK home use. You have to undo the 3-pin plug (though it is supplied with the screws partly undone) then force the two-pins into the holders inside the plug before screwing it back down into position. And crucially, there are no instructions in the booklet to tell you how to do it!
So.... for the money, this massager is good value. It only has one setting but if you are suffering from sciatica like me, the powerful massage action was very welcome and provided relief. It's good for in the car and the auto shut-off prevents you from overusing it.
Just be prepared to faff around with the plug for home use.
