Just because you're trying to eat healthier, it doesn't mean you have to give up the things you enjoy eating. If you love tucking into a helping of pasta, contrary to popular belief, you don't have to wave goodbye to a bowl of the good stuff. Instead, just switch to a healthy pasta recipe - of which there are plenty! Here are just ten of our favourites for lunch or dinner... Bon appétit

Tuna pasta bake

A winner for the whole family, this bake is rich in protein and packed with vitamin D. While you may want to use a jar for ease, why not have a go at making your own sauce?

Healthy lasagne

The ultimate comfort food, usually Lasagne isn't short of calories but Holly's take is stuffed with veggies such as tomatoes, squash and courgette.

Why not try this veggie version too?

Chicken pasta salad

A simple but delicious choice, this easy recipe has a pea, tomato, and basil sauce and makes for a great packed lunch option.

Pea pappardelle pasta

A refreshing pasta that we reckon is great for the summer, there are just three steps to follow for this bowl of tastiness.

Penne alla Norma

A Sicilian classic, this recipe pulls together aubergine, tomatoes and basil. The ricotta cheese adds a creamy consistency but if you're feeling angelic, you can always skip it.

Spring veg linguine recipe

We love a one-pan pasta dish and Jamie Oliver's vegetable linguine is full of fresh flavours including lemon and mint while being packed with plenty of nutrients.

Turkey ragu

Spag bol is a classic dish, but for a lighter version, swap to turkey mince instead. In his version, chef Tom Kerridge even goes as far as replacing pasta with shredded cabbage linguine if you fancy a challenge.

Lo Mein

An Asian-inspired meal, this veggie recipe is a great way of stocking up on veggies as well as being dairy-free and suitable for vegans.

Healthy carbonara

You can't beat a good carbonara! While this recipe still has the usual eggs and (grilled!) bacon, it's made with reduced-fat creme fraiche instead for a lighter take on this popular dish.

Salmon pasta

Ready in under 30 minutes, this recipe from Healthy Fitness Meals is made with fresh salmon which as we know is full of goodness such as omega-3.

Feeling fancy? Why not try making your own pasta?

And remember, when eaten in moderation, you can still continue to enjoy your favourite pasta recipes as part of a balanced diet.
