Though it is small it provides an explosion of flavours and was filling enough. This pizza is great with some olives on the side but is just as good without. I totally recommend this pizza and hope that you enjoy all the textures and smells that go with this dish."
Crosta & Mollica Rustica Pizza with Pancetta & Mushrooms
This pizza has a lot of five-star reviews - and for good reason! After slow-proving for 24 hours, the sourdough, mascarpone base is topped with mushrooms cooked with garlic, onion and parsley, scattered with pancetta and finished with flakes of fior di latte mozzarella and a sprinkling of aged Italian cheese.Review: "This pizza is so good. The base has a lovely stone-baked style and flavour. The bacon is crispy and mushrooms juicy (but in no way slimy) and the white sauce is a really flavourful accompaniment to the toppings and cheese. Its hard to fault this pizza, but to be extremely picky (because it really is so good) the crust to topping-area ratio could be less crust heavy. That is simply because the topping area and thin base beneath are so good I wanted want more. The crust was very filling. "
