Review: “I'm so glad I bought this. I've had a manual pasta roller before and hardly ever used it. This machine does it all for you and is so easy to use. I make pasta with 200g of flour, which is more than enough for two people, but if you have a crowd to feed then you're going to need to make it in batches. I also use the mixer/kneading section to make bread dough, which works brilliantly to make a small loaf.”

Review: “Great product. I am a total pasta-making novice and it was easy enough for me to use. I had to lightly separate the strands which was the only difficulty but well worth the investment. I didn't want to buy a KitchenAid brand one as they were so expensive and for me, this is just perfect to attach to my KitchenAid mixer. I was nervous it wouldn't fit or work as they aren't the same brand, but it was great. I am going to go thinner when rolling next time now I know what I'm doing!”

Here's our favourite pasta dough recipe
Want to make fresh pasta with your pasta maker but don’t know where to begin? Here’s our favourite and easy pasta recipe below as well as some tips to make you a pasta-making expert. Whip this up and use it as linguine, penne, lasagnaor even make your own shapes.
Ingredients (serves 6)
6 large eggs
600 '00' / Doppio Zero flour (Available from Waitrose and Sainsbury's)
Method
- Place the flour in a bowl (or on a board if you prefer). Make a well in the centre and crack in your eggs, beating them with a fork.
- Use your hands to mix the eggs with the flour, incorporating a small amount at a time. It should start to resemble a dough.
- Knead the dough until it becomes one large piece of dough. If you have a food processor, you can add your ingredients and mix until it has a breadcrumb consistency.
- Continue kneading the dough until it feels smooth and soft. If it feels floury or lumpy, keep kneading.
- Then, you'll need to pop it in the fridge to rest for at least 30 minutes. Wrap it in cling film to ensure it doesn't dry out (don't leave any gaps!).
- Now, it's time to roll and cut. Follow the instructions on your chosen pasta cutter or roller to create the shape that you want.
Top tips for pasta making machines
• Flatten your dough before you put it through your rolling machine – if you have an automatic machine, you won’t need to worry about this step.
• Ensure your pasta roller is properly attached to your chosen work surface, you don’t want it slipping about!
• Roll your pasta dough through your machine a few times to make it even silkier and smoother.
• If you’re using a pasta roller, decrease the thickness as you go along to get a thinner dough and roll it out.
• According to traditional pasta makers, you shouldn’t need to re-fold your pasta dough once it’s been through the machine – it should be sturdy enough to be rolled through without breaking.
