When it comes for doing your bit for charity, Cancer Research is one of the most important charities to raise funds for. With 1 in 2 people in the UK being diagnosed with cancer at some point in their lives, the chances are you'll have been affected by the disease in one way or another, whether you have lost a love one, or you yourself have battled cancer.

The Cancer Research Race for Life is a brilliant and fun way to raise funds for the charity, and whether you want to walk, run, or do a bit of both, it's a great excuse to get your running trainers on and your friends together to do your bit in the fight against cancer.

Don't worry if you're not a natural runner - the Race For Life isn't a competitive event and participants are invited to walk or run the course at their own pace.
