I am a 54-year-old healthy female, who loves going to the gym and walking so testing this exercise bike was a great. I live on my own so do a lot of reading and whilst doing this I can also do some exercise, I also work from home so whilst sitting at my desk I can get this bike out and get my legs moving. You can also use it to train your arms but I found this quite awkward as you have to stand it on a table.

Testing the AGM Mini Exercise Bike
The bike was well packed and easily removed from the box. I put it together in about 10 minutes and was really easy to do. I used the manual provided which was really helpful. The pedals just screw on, and some tools were provided to fit the stabilisers but no screwdriver to set the size of the foot straps on so be sure to make sure you have a Philips screwdriver. I have quite small feet so moved it to setting 2 and my trainers fitted in perfectly, however the plastic that the straps are made of are quite stiff, so your foot needs to fit exactly or they do catch. It does seem to be made from quite cheap plastic so I am not sure how robust it would be if accidentally dropped!

I tested this bike for three weeks and found it really easy to use and move to different rooms being it being really lightweight. It fitted easily under my desk, and I could even use it whilst sitting on my sofa, the non-slip mat on my wooden floor meant it stayed in one place. I really liked the fact that it's quite small so can be stored in a cupboard when not being used. The LCD screen is bright and large enough to see when having a quick glance, it measures time, distance, calories and pedals per minute. The resistance knob can be set for different intensities which works well, I used it on a high intensity, and I could feel the difference straight away, it was hard to turn the pedals which was good for my training.

Final verdict
All in all, I think this versatile mini exercise bike is great to get you moving when at your desk or watching TV, it’s good value for money, very easy to put together and to store away, I think it would be good to use if you were recovering from an operation and wanted to get back into training. I liked that it was very portable and easy to use, you can burn a lot of calories in 30 minutes, especially if you have the resistance set to high. I would recommend this exercise bike because it is easy to use and assemble, lightweight/compact, portable, builds muscle/strength and helps to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
