Have you ever found it difficult to hear some of your favourite TV shows and films clearly? Although modern day TV sets are very technologically advanced, they still benefit from a helping hand when it comes to improving the sound quality, which is why it’s worth investing in a sound system if you constantly find yourself turning the volume up and up.

Using the LG Surround 3D Multiroom Home Cinema System

The setting up of the sound system is a little overwhelming, with many cables and parts to use. Luckily, the instructions were fairly user friendly, although it did take an hour or so to set up. We also needed an extra cable in order to make it work which was slightly frustrating.

Once set up, the sound system was very easy to use. It comes with a separate remote control, and there have been occasions where it’s fallen down the side of the sofa and we couldn’t find it - so if you’re not a fan of having more than one remote in the living room, this one might not be for you.

It was so clear to hear the difference the first time we used it. We’re really big fans of older films in our house, which famously have not so good quality sound, so it’s been really good to watch these films with better quality sound. Each voice is clear and it creates a real cinema atmosphere in the room.

What are the pros?

It’s brilliant sound system and you can really hear the difference

Great for movie lovers and makes watching movies a much better viewing experience.

It is far clearer and louder than the TV sound system.

What are the cons?

Downsides is there is a lot of cabling, which can be rather confusing when setting up the system. Although the instructions are fairly easy to follow, the set up was rather fiddly.

We also found that we needed to purchase additional audio cables in order to connect our system with our TV. So depending on your tv system, you might need to shop for additional cables.

It requires an extra remote control which could be a con for some.

Is it worth the money?

This multiroom home cinema system provides loud and clear sound to any room of any size. It’s great for larger rooms or more open plan rooms. You can set up the smaller speakers in your room exactly how you want and they look smart in any room.

Therefore, I think it’s worth the money if you have a larger room, and if you often struggle to hear things that you watch clearly.

Would you recommend the LG Surround 3D Multiroom Home Cinema System?

I would absolutely recommend it to someone who loves to watch films or finds it difficult to hear without turning the volume up high. It’s also brilliant if your house is close to traffic or if you have a loud washing machine that pollutes the sound, as the system is that powerful, it cancels out those other sounds.

If you're not very confident when it comes to setting up things like this, or you think the setting up could be a little overwhelming or confusing, I would perhaps say it isn't the best product for you.

Also, if you have a smaller living room, you might prefer something smaller like a sound bar to improve the sound quality.
