Batteries are a staple of pretty much every household, although plenty of our devices can now be electrically charged, several items including children's toys, scales, and cameras require AA or AAA batteries.

There's a large range of rechargeable batteries out there, and it may be difficult to know where to start looking. So we've decided to make a guide of the best rechargeable batteries on the market, to suit every budget.

If you're wondering whether rechargeable batteries are better than single-use batteries we're here to tell you that they are. On the whole, you're much better off using rechargeable ones as they have plenty more benefits than single-use batteries.

For starters, they're much more efficient and eco-friendly than single-use batteries, as they last longer and significantly reduce waste. They also usually cost less too, so you won't need to find a sale or an Amazon Prime Deal on them to save money.

If you have any questions regarding rechargeable batteries, or what the mAh rating of a battery means, check out our FAQ section, at the end of our guide.
