Testing the Ultenic K20 Dual Basket Air Fryer

I tested the Ultenic K20 Dual Basket Air Fryer for around two months and used it. We used it for making breakfast, evening meals, lunch and even to reheat food.
What I like most about it was having two drawers so you can cook different items simultaneously at separate temperatures and for different times. The only issue I found with air fryer was that sometimes the drawers were difficult to pull out and push in.

What I cooked in the air fryer

Boiled eggs- this was brilliant as there wasn't any washing up required.

Fish fingers - these took 12 mins to cook and came out the same as if cooked in the oven. It was much quicker to cook them in an air fryer, as there was no preheating of the oven required.

Sweet potato fries - Cooked in 15 mins . they came out good but needed cooking a little longer or at higher temperature.

Boiled eggs - Cooked in 9 mins. Perfect for cooking hard boiled eggs. Brilliant as there wasn't any washing up required. Would try for 7 mins for soft boiled.

Cubes of tofu for curry - Cooked in 15 mins. Perfectly crispy, better than the oven. No need to preheat oven and cooked quicker.

Croutons - Cooked in 6 mins. Perfect result. Quicker than oven and much less oil required.

Reheated quiche - took 8 mins. Heated it up perfectly. It was only 1 portion of quiche so it was much more efficient to use airfryer over regular oven.

We have also fried paneer, warmed up a couple of cookies, crisped up some already cooked new potatoes.

We were sceptical about using an airfryer but have been impressed with how easy it is to use and the capacity / 2 drawer system. We feel it has lived up to its product description.

The results of all items cooked have been very good. It is easy to get crisp results (when required) with little to no oil. The airfryer is slightly noisy when working but the noise doesn't continue for very long when cooling. Smells seem to be well contained. Didn't experience any smoke or fumes.

Very easy to get working. Airfryer is sturdy and the shape is pleasing. Digital display works well and easy to navigate. Really easy to clean the cooking baskets and digital display just requires a wipe over.

Final verdict

We have really enjoyed using the airfryer. Having the option to cook different foods at different temperatures at the same time mean it is far more viable to use the airfryer in place of the regular oven. The cooking has been quick with really good results and relatively little to no mess.

I would most probably recommend this product due to the ease of use, cooking options and capacity make this a great air fryer.
