I am 39 years old and work from home as a Graphic Designer. As I sit for long periods at a time, my bad posture and slouching puts a real strain on my lower back in particular. I try and do things on a daily basis such as pilates to try and help this but I felt that I needed to try some sort of support pillow to support my back whilst sitting at my desk everyday. Testing the Supportiback Lumbar Support Pillow
I tested the Lumbar support pillow for 3 weeks. I used it for 5 days a week, 6 hours a day. The pillow arrived in a vacuum packed parcel and once taken out, the memory foam ‘bounced back’ to its full shape. It was very easy to position on my chair using the extendable positioning strap that goes around the back of the chair - it can fit any chair up to 32”. Final verdict
I can definitely feel the benefits of using the support cushion for a couple of weeks now. I now find myself correcting my posture when sitting elsewhere around the house and I believe this is down to the fact that I am strengthening my posture muscles on a daily basis now and as a result my posture has improved. My lower back pain hasn’t disappeared completely but I am no longer in pain whilst sitting at my desk.
This has made a huge impact on my ability to sit comfortably at my desk all day. I highly recommend for anyone who suffers with back pain or anyone that spends a lot of time sitting. To be able to transform my office chair for under £15 - this cushion is really worth it’s money! For such an inexpensive cushion I really wish I’d have tried it sooner!
