Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser FAQs

How does the Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser work?

If you're not sure how the Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser works, it's really simple. All it takes is a push of a button, your chosen liquid and a serving of your favourite Hotel Chocolat hot chocolate flakes. Hotel Chocolat offers these instructions for using the Velvetiser:

• First, give the coil on the whisk a little spin to make sure it is free-moving.
• Place this in the Velvetiser (always before anything else).
• Add your chosen liquid and pour the contents of your Hotel Chocolat hot chocolate or latte single serve on top.
• Close the lid, press the button and the perfect drink will be ready in just two and a half minutes.

Unlike other hot chocolates you make at home, the Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser doesn't use power, just pure, grated high-quality chocolate to give the texture of your drink that silky-smooth finish that's not too thick and not too watery.

What sort of milk can you use with the Hotel Chocolat Velvetiser?

It's entirely up to you what milk you use with the Velvetiser. You can use any dairy or plant-based milk, as long as it's smooth and non-textured. You can even use water if you'd prefer, purely on its own or mixed in with milk. It's all down to your personal taste.

When is Amazon's next sale event?

Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days is running from the 8th and 9th of October, bringing with it two days of epic deals - including velvetisers (from Hotel Chocolat to Salter) - exclusively for Prime Members. Think low-cost autumn-winter shopping and the best way to stock up for Christmas presents.

When is Black Friday?

Black Friday takes place on the 29th of November this year, across the world. But, in previous years, we've seen most sales begin a week or so before - and some even at the beginning of November (right through to Christmas). Keep an eye on this page if you are waiting for the best price. Everyone from Hotel Chocolat to Robert Dyas may be offering some kind of discount across their wide range of goodies.
