How did this product make your life easier?

Yes! I have tried mid-range hand-held vacuum cleaners before and been left underwhelmed. Rather reluctantly, I was in the process of saving for a higher ended vacuum but then Hoover approached us to try their H-300 Cordless Stick vacuum cleaner and I am glad they did!
Upon opening the box, I was impressed at how compactly and logically everything was packed (no needless wastage here). Hoover knows that operating a vacuum cleaner shouldn’t be rocket science and I was pleasantly surprised the main instructions for using each part to the vacuum were in a simple image-by-image guide - for someone who dreads reading pages of instructions, this was a refreshing and more than adequate change!
Something I was very impressed by was the Dual LED Dust Locator lights on both the floorhead and handheld Pet Turbo brush. I was amazed, if a little unnerved, by how much dust and other bits I noticed – considerably more than my standard vacuum. This is feature is especially helpful when you are cleaning ahead of welcoming eagle-eyed guests (I can count my sister-in-law as one of them!).
A definite plus to this vacuum I found was the transition from smooth flooring (we have vinyl and ceramic in our house) to carpet and rugs. Unlike a lot of vacuums, you don’t need to change the head on this one when going from smooth surface to fabric - I found myself whizzing around the house in no time!
If you have pets, then the Pet Turbo brush is a mini vacuum in itself! It has the LED light function, which means you can easily find that hidden pet hair, both in the home and car.
Whilst I was a bit nervous about the battery life (12-40 mins depending on the task at hand), it was more than adequate at giving the house (3-bed semi) a good vacuum and spruce, when using a combination of the stick and attachments on the standard power setting.

Would you recommend this product?
Yes. It may not be the lightest on the market but it’s a good little vacuum. It’s excellent value for money – it’s versatile (home to car, smooth flooring to fabric, high to low places), has just the right amount of power to give the whole house a good vacuum and can be easily cleaned (the drum and filter). The attachments are excellent and the vacuum is small enough to be easily stored away. It looks good too.
Would you choose this product above all others on the market?
If thinking mid-range, then I would find it hard to beat. I haven’t been a ‘fan’ of Hoover for a long time but this vacuum is good value for money and has restored my impression of the brand.
What changes would you make to this product?
Whilst light and effortless using the stick, it’s a little heavy when using it as a handheld vacuum with the attachments. I would also prefer the connection of the stick and other attachments to be less stiff when trying to get them off the unit after use.
