How did the eve original hybrid mattress make your life easier?
I've never actually owned a new mattress - our last one was a hand me down, and while I thought it was comfortable at the time, I hadn't actually realised how bad it was until we got this new hybrid mattress. Our old mattress was a memory foam, but looking back I think it wasn't firm enough for myself or my partner. The eve hybrid has been a revelation. We both slept like babies the first night using the eve hybrid, and have continued to sleep much better thanks to this new mattress. In fact we went on holiday and I actually found myself missing our mattress!
I love the look of the mattress - it arrived all boxed up, ready to roll out onto the bed frame. The grey border is very modern and I like the yellow border too. It almost felt a shame to cover it with our bedsheets. We left the mattress to sort itself out for a few hours, as recommended on the instructions and then we were good to go. It does have a funny smell for a while after it first comes out of the box and plastic packaging, but this faded quickly and I didn't find it particularly offensive. If it did bother you I suppose you could use some scented pillow spray or something similar.
At first I thought the mattress felt too firm and I wasn't sure it would be comfortable to sleep on, but it really contours to your body and supports you. I'm a bit of a nomad sleeper, I sleep on my back, front and sides - and in every position I was comfortable. My partner is definitely sleeping better as well and we've both commented on our backs being less painful in the day, which I think is thanks to this mattress.
While we haven't yet experienced this mattress on a hot night, I've also found that I feel cooler at night already and have no doubt that it will be more comfortable in the summer months too.
Would you recommend this product?
I would have no hesitation in recommending this mattress, I particularly love the hybrid feature as you get the best of both worlds. It feels cool and breathable, I'm not waking up with an aching back or neck anymore and when I lie in bed it just feels so comfy I fall asleep so much easier than I used to.
(Our cat is also a big fan of the new mattress!)
What changes would you make to this product?
There isn't anything I'd change, from delivery to the improvement I've seen in my sleep I can't fault this mattress. The leaflet you get when the mattress arrives is informative and clear - the only thing I would do next time is arrange them to take away my old mattress. We kept it as a spare but now I realise it's definitely time for it to go to the dump!

The white top panel of the mattress (98% polyester and 2% elastane) can be unzipped and popped in the wash at 40°C.

Delivery of eve hybrid mattress
Your mattress arrives vacuum-sealed in a box at your door, so there’ll be no ‘Ross from Friends’ moments trying to get it up to your room. Simply unwrap and the mattress will expand to its full size within a few hours.
Getting rid of your old mattress can be a real hassle. So eve offer a new service to make life a bit easier.
