Testing the Dreamland Silent Power Comfort Electric Heater
I have been using Dreamland comfort fan heater for a couple of weeks now, and have been trying it out in a family-based setting. My initial thoughts upon opening is that it would come in handy as I work from home, and have children at home so I was keen to find out if this was something that could be used around them.
My first thoughts when I received this was that the actual heater itself was nicely made, clean looking and fits in with my home style. It doesn’t stand out and goes well with my decor. I took it out of the box, and found it was very easy to use, plugging it in and starting it up without any trouble. The very first thing that I was impressed with was just how quiet this is! I was expecting a loud fan, which could be noisy and disturb the ambience of the room… well I was very pleased to find it is so quiet, and could barely hear it when it was turned on.

The settings are very straightforward, with easy to use dials which go through different settings, from heater to cooler settings, and different temperature ranges to suit all needs. I did not need to refer to the instructions at all, it was a plug in and go kind of product which I always like, I am not very good at anything that includes too many instructions or is fiddly to use!
I wasn’t sure when I would need to use this as the weather has been up and down lately, but found I did use it on a couple of cooler mornings, especially when working from home. It was very suited to warming me up without having to put the heating on in the whole house.

One thing I have noticed whilst using this product is that the actual housing itself does not become hot. It is fine to touch and this is something that would be beneficial for those with children at home - I don’t think it would cause any issues with little fingers being burnt.
Another thing I liked about this is that it is compact and slim, easy to store away in my downstairs cupboard (which is full of children’s toys, coats and other home items such as an ironing board and broom!) this means that it can be kept to one side easily without worrying about where it will go!
The fan element is like a nice breeze, not too strong but does give a soft breeze to cool you down, although I found I didn’t use this option much in the current weather we are having. I think I would use this more in the summer months.

Final verdict
Overall, I found this product very easy to use, family-friendly as it is easily portable and can be taken from room to room, and so quiet. It was good to have the option to warm me up rather than the whole house and I think as winter starts to kick in I will use it a lot more. It is so compact that storing it wasn’t an issue, even in my very busy cupboard. I also feel that it is a good product to have around children as it didn’t get too hot to harm them either. I would recommend this for someone who wants a quick way to warm up a room or person, and to have on hand for those chilly evenings ahead. I feel like the Dreamland comfort heater will be a staple item in our household!
