There are now more robot vacuums than ever to choose from to effortlessly clean your home and here at Yours, we've been testing several out to help you pick the very best. Next up on our list is the Dreame Bot L10 Pro.

Dreame Bot L10 Pro at a glance

With 150min worth of run time, the L10 Pro has an advanced brushless motor that cleans with the suction of 4,000Pa. It scans your home with two lasers to avoid obstacles and when a nearby object is detected, it slows down and goes another way.

Scanning at a radius of 8 meters, it comes up with better cleaning paths to make sure every spot is properly cleaned. It even has a water tank capacity of 270ml so it can moisten the included mop as needed to tackle stubborn marks.

How did this product make your life easier?

As a busy working mum of three (and two kittens), I spend a lot of time hoovering. A lot! So being able to pre-schedule a vacuum cleaner to hoover my entire house every morning is bliss. My house can be cleaned whilst I work or cook dinner. I like the fact that it can recharge and then resume cleaning, without any user input.

My kittens and children were very dubious of our new house guest. The cats have had some rides around the house and the kids still think it chases them. Unfortunately, I haven’t managed to get the infamous ‘cat riding said vacuum’ shot as yet.

Being able to switch between suction modes for various floor types/amount of suction needed is great. On the regular mode, it is very quiet and I was very surprised to see how much dirt was in the filter after the first clean. It’s good to know I could have it set to the quietest mode and still get a good clean.

This is my first robot vacuum and I have been very pleasantly surprised by how clever it is. It avoids smaller household items with ease and can manoeuvre around them without an issue.

Would you recommend this product?

Yes I would. It’s a definite time and energy saver; once you’ve figured out how it all works.

The ease of use alongside the quiet volume makes it that thing you didn’t know you needed, but now can’t live without!

Would you choose this product above all others on the market?

I haven’t used a robot vacuum before, but from what I’ve seen whilst researching online. I like how sleek and simple the device looks and it has a very small, compact charging station. The mopping function is a great extra that not all other robot vacuums have – makes such a difference if you have wooden flooring as well as carpet.

What changes would you make to this product?

I would have liked the initial set-up to be easier and the instructions clearer. It took me a few attempts (over several days) to get the vacuum and app connected, and then even longer to get the rooms set up etc. I couldn’t figure out how to add more than one room map on the app; it would be great to have both up and downstairs mapped out.
