Capsule cordless vacuum

The only ultra-light cordless with the power and capacity of a full-size upright, the Capsule cordless vacuum cleaner gives you everything you need in one ultra-light, big capacity, high-performance package.

Capsule uses premium Carbon Fibre (more typically used in the worlds of motor sport and aviation) so that it weighs just 2.6kg. This incredibly thin but strong shell, just one millimetre in thickness, allows Capsule to be ultra-light whilst housing a much greater internal volume than conventional cordless vacuum cleaners.

Capsule thrives on long-lasting cordless power, thanks to the latest brushless digital motors coupled with high-performance Lithium Ion batteries giving run time up to 60 minutes. So much power in fact that it will clean as well as a traditional corded upright on both carpet and hard floor.

Take a look at what we thought of the Capsule cordless vacuum cleaner.

Capsule Cordless Vacuum review

How did this product make your life easier?

The Capsule has become the vacuum I didn’t know I needed. I’ve never owned a cordless vacuum before but I’ve used a Dyson one while staying with family, and personally found that a faff as it didn’t stay charged for very long so you couldn’t do the whole house in one go.

So, I was prepared for the Capsule to be something that I got out just to hoover up crumbs or make it easier to do the stairs.

However, this is the only vacuum I use now. My old upright is collecting dust under the stairs!

It’s so much easier to grab for a quick spruce up, and is perfectly capable of doing the whole house if I’m doing a proper clean. I have two cats and a dog, plus my partner works on a farm so there’s always a fair amount of mess to clear up, but the Capsule has been absolutely great.

It’s also really easy to remove the brush and cut off any trapped hairs – a brilliant feature, particularly when you have pets and long hair as I do!

It doesn’t take long to charge and the battery lasts for ages so I haven’t had to charge it much.

I wasn’t expecting it to have dust pouches, but I actually think I prefer that to bagless. I was a bit nervous about it at first as I thought it would be a pain to have to keep checking on the bag, rather than being able to see how full it was, but there’s a light indicator to let you know that the bag is full.

I haven’t had to empty it yet (another bonus) but it looks to be very simple to do so and the bundle comes with an ample supply of spare bags. My current hoover tends to make quite a mess when I try to empty it into the bin, so I can see the advantage of the bags and I like that they are compostable too.

Would you recommend this product?

Definitely – I really can’t find much fault with the Capsule cordless vacuum. I don’t have a whole lot of storage space in my house, so this lives in a spare corner in the second bedroom, but I really don’t mind looking at it – it’s a very smart vacuum.

I don’t think the bundle price is bad either considering everything you get included. There are a range of attachments that can be used for the stairs, sofas, and even hoovering up cobwebs on the ceiling. It comes with a stand you can attach to the wall too. Also, I have carpets and hard floors and have used the Capsule on both.

Would you choose this product above all others on the market?

I really would – it’s as good as my corded upright vacuum, copes very well with pet hair, is easier to use and can be used for more chores than my current vacuum. It’s also great for cleaning the car as there are no power plugs in our garage.

Delivery was fast, the instructions are clear, and it’s great to use.

What changes would you make to this product?

At first, I thought it felt quite heavy – or heavier than I expected anyway. Perhaps it was down to the shape of it. But I’ve got used to it now and I must say when you’re actually using it it’s so easy to manoeuvre.

I really can’t think of anything to change, I’ve been very impressed with the Capsule!
