Using the Bissell SpotClean Pro

The Bissell SpotClean Pro comes with: 8cm Tough Stain Tool, Large 15cm Stain Tool, Wash and Protect Cleaning Solution and user manual.

Bissell SpotClean Pro is lightweight and has a compact design so that it’s easy to store away. It benefits from a 1.5m built-in-hose which allows you to be able to clean almost anywhere. The portable cleaner has a very powerful suction and combined with the brush tools make stain removal an easy task!

The Bissell SpotClean Pro has 2 large lift-out water tanks; a 2.9litre detergent tank which takes a mixture of water and detergent. The fill marks are quite unclear and the manual shows that there are 2 fill lines – one for water and the other for the detergent. However there is only one fill line marked on the tank so it was a bit of a guess on how much to out in.

The second is a 3.5 litre tank that is for the dirty water that is collected. This is particularly useful when dealing with wet spills as you don’t have to constantly empty it.

What are the pros?

Using the Bissell SpotClean Pro couldn’t be simpler it has just one mode and you simply press down the power button to turn it on and then squeeze the handle on the trigger to spray detergent on any stains, then just rub the brush over the area and the dirt and water will be powerfully sucked away leaving the area clean and just slightly damp. Emptying the tank is really straight forward – just pull out and slip the handle back to remove the lid and then just pour out the dirty water.

What are the cons?

Getting the Bissell SpotClean Pro set up was quite straightforward although I think the manual would benefit and be much quicker to follow if it had some text alongside it, rather than just images

Is it worth the money?

Our sofas don’t have stain guard so some of the things that have been spilt on them in the past have been tricky to remove. Unsightly water marks have been left behind from some of my attempts at removing the spills. The Bissell SpotClean Pro has revived our sofas! The water marks have vanished as have some of the lurking stains! I am so impressed. Minimal effort and the sofas look brand new! I would 100% say that this cleaner is worth the money - not only am I a little bit more relaxed if we have a spillage now but getting this cleaner was much cheaper than new sofas!

Would you recommend the Bissell SpotClean Pro?

The Bissell SpotClean Pro has really impressed me. The sofas and rugs in our house frequently get stuff spilt on them and I couldn’t justify getting a full-on carpet cleaner when we only have carpets in the bedrooms. This upholstery cleaner was the answer I was looking for! I would definitely recommend this cleaner to anyone that is looking for something smaller than a carpet cleaner but still requires something that works as well for stains and spills.
