I wanted them to benefit from the Hepa filter and the superb dust and allergen retention. I went over their 2 bed house a few hours after my dad had used the very old upright dyson. It picked up so much more dust and dander, it was so impressive. The product has a smaller bin than other handhelds and fewer cyclones. This is why it's their lightest, but dont let that put you off. It did the whole house on medium power. If I was deep cleaning behind sofas etc it would maybe need to be emptied in between floors, but did a noticeably good job and is effective at picking up stuff you didnt even realise was there. Plus it has the full range of accessories, including the soft roller for hard floors which is great with a green laser light to spot the otherwise invisible dust particles.
Easy to use, needs a bit of storage for all the attachments though. The dyson app is where to register for warranty, plus it has helpful videos in the app to show how to remove the dust, clean the filter etc. I have a different product myself but find all of this immeasurably helpful."

Customer review: "Well, let's get over the price, it's not cheap but had some work vouchers to reduce the cost. Performance is great. Have had a number of Dysons and current ones are/we're a corded one about 10 years old and a hand held about the same age. Would expect a step up in performance from the hand held but the cordless, wow. Thought the carpet was clean but the suction and pick up make our old Dysons look like toys. It is a little on the heavy side but it feels well made. Hard floor tool with its laser sight is great. Very happy with this purchase."
