Roman Curve range

One of the most frustrating things as a plus-size woman is finding the right clothes to fit and suit your shape. You’ll pop to your local supermarket and on a whim take a look at the clothing section, only to be disappointed in the lack of sizing available. Clothes that have been designed for smaller bodies can feel awkward on our curves, or it’s easy to find a plus-size range that just isn’t that stylish. Finding a brand that ticks the boxes of comfort, style and sizing can be a rare gem, but we’ve found it in the Roman Curve range.

We’ve no doubt you’ve heard of Roman before with its long history as a British high street retailer. And while, in recent years, we’ve sadly had to wave goodbye to some similarly recognisable high street giants, Roman is going strong and continuing to expand with the Curve collection being one of its newest sub-brands.

Designed to celebrate our curves and help us embrace our bodies, they’ve introduced a huge plus-size range available in sizes 14 to 32. There are over 800 clothing options available from everyday essentials, flattering dresses, smart eveningwear and so much more. And better yet, they’re affordable too with nothing costing more than £60.

But don’t just take our word for it! We’ve rounded up our favourite outfits from the Roman Curve range so you can see for yourself.

Our top picks: Roman's Curve range

Green Curve Leaf Print Notch Neck TopRoman

With a flattering dip hem, longline style for coverage and available in vibrant green or a black leaf print, this shirt is perfect for your spring/summer wardrobe. Pair with leggings and trainers for a casual look, or style with cropped jeans and sandals when those warmer days arrive.

Black Curve Animal Print Satin SkirtRoman

We believe a satin midi skirt is a wardrobe staple; you can dress it up or down and its fit and flare silhouette skims off curves beautifully. This fun animal print version from Roman is stylish and comfortable. It’s crafted from a luxuriously silky satin woven material and has a stretchy elasticated band for all-day comfort.

Green Curve Stripe Cotton Blend Longline CardiganRoman

Cardigans are having a moment and make for the perfect transitional garment for spring. We especially love this stripe print cardigan that’s soft, nautical-inspired, and falls beautifully from the body. We’ll take one in each colour, please.

Black Curve Stripe Print Twist Front DressRoman

Designed to hug in all the right places, this timeless twist front dress has a feminine v-neckline, a fit and flare shape and a hanky hemline. You can wear with sandals and a denim jacket during the day, or switch to a pair of wedge heels for the evening. And thanks to the stretch fabric, you can expect comfort all night long.

Green Curve Swirl Print Dipped Hem KimonoRoman

Get the coverage you want without sweating in a cardigan this summer with this lightweight kimono. It can be thrown over casual or smart looks, making it versatile summer staple that adds a little whimsy to every outfit. We love the three-quarter length sleeves and dipped hem that’ll float beautifully in a summer breeze.

Pink Curve Abstract Bar Back Stretch TopRoman
Price: $30 (was £35)

In polka dots or this gorgeous abstract print (pictured), this top was made for everyday styling come spring and summer. It has a stretch jersey fabric for a flattering pull-on fit, a hanky hem shape and a ‘bar’ design on the back for more unique detailing. Plus, we think it hangs beautifully off the bust.
