Officially, the date of the Queen's Jubilee is 2 June. This is the date the Queen ascended to the throne back in 1952. The Queen’s historic reign will be marked over a long weekend in June, called the Platinum Jubilee Central Weekend. It will take place from the 2-5 June.
When is the Platinum Jubilee Bank Holiday?
The Platinum Jubilee Bank Holiday falls on 2 June 2022. The Spring bank holiday that usually falls on the last Monday of May has been moved to Friday 3 June 2022, giving everyone a four day weekend to celebrate the 70-year-reign of Her Royal Highness.
