There have been a fair share of This Morning presenters, which isn't surprising as the show has been a staple part of British breakfast television for more than 35 years.

Who is the new presenter on This Morning?
The show is having a refresh! ITV has announced that two new This Morning presenters, Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard, will join the team in March 2024.
Speaking to ITV about his new role, Ben said, “For the last ten years I’ve been waking up with our ITV daytime audience on GMB and I now look forward to spending time with Cat, welcoming the viewers home after the school run or from their early morning routines, with a cup of tea and a mix of everything that makes This Morning so loved.”
Cat added, “This Morning is a national institution. Whenever it’s on, it’s like having your friends over - funny, smart, silly, heartfelt, informative and joyful - like all the greatest friendships!"
“This Morning is and always will be the viewer’s show. Ben and I both know how much people love it, and with the help of an amazing team of people, we’re going to do our best to take care of it.”
Past This Morning presenters
Richard and Judy, 1988-2001
Husband and wife duo Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan were the first ever hosts of the show. They did a 13 year stint before heading off to Channel 4 to host their own chat show called Richard & Judy (which was were their famous book club began).
Ross Kelly, 1990-1993, 2000
Ross Kelly joined the show as a relief presenter, then left three years later to produce and present GMTV. He then came back to the same role on This Morning in 2000. He is not related to fellow presenter Lorraine Kelly.
Caron Keating, 1996-1999
Former Blue Peter presenter Caroline Keating (Donald Keating and Gloria Hunniford's daughter) took over presenting duties when Richard and Judy were away. Sadly, Caron was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1997 and passed away at her mother's home in 2004.
John Leslie, 1999–2002
John Leslie was a regular presenter of the Friday edition alongside Fern Britton. Colleen Nolan and Twiggy took over and ratings dropped, so he then came back as full-time with Fern and ratings increased.
Fern Britton, 1999–2009
Initially joining as a guest presenter, Fern Britton became a full-time host on Fridays (with John Leslie). She then became the primary host and continued in this role when Philip Schofield joined in 2002.
Colleen Nolan, 2001
Before she became a regular Loose Women panellist, Colleen Nolan (the youngest of the Nolan Sisters) briefly hosted This Morning (Monday to Thursdays) with Twiggy. She later returned to the show from 2010 to 2012, presenting the interactive hub segments.
Twiggy, 2001
Model and actress Twiggy co-hosted the show with Colleen Nolan for a short period of time, but reportedly left (with Colleen) due to a drop in viewing figures.
Phillip Schofield, 2002–2023
Initially joining the couch as a Friday presenter with Fern Briton and John Leslie in the early noughties, Phillip Schofield soon became a permanent fixture after replacing John had to leave the show. In 2008, he took a break after his father died, and actor John Barrowman stood in. Fern departed in 2009, and Holly Willoughby took over from her and became Phil's new co-host.
He stepped down from his role with immediate effect on the 20th May 2023, after 20 years on the show.
Lorraine Kelly, 2004–2006
After presenting GMTV, Good Morning Britain, Talk Radio and Daybreak, Lorraine Kelly became the Monday and Friday host from September 2004 and worked alongside Philip Schofield, as Fern Britton wanted to spend more time with her family.
Eammon and Ruth, 2006-2021
After the success of Richard and Judy, ITV employed married couple Eammon Holmes and Ruth Langsford and they worked on This Morning 14 years, first as guest-presenters and then as regular Friday show hosts and school holiday presenters.
Despite their departure in 2021, Ruth Langsford continued to lead the panel on Loose Women and Eammon worked on GB News.
Holly Willoughby, 2009–2023
In 2009, Holly Willoughby became a regular presenter of This Morning alongside Phillip Schofield, where they spent 14 years on the sofa together. She decided to quit the show not long after Phillip left, after a man was arrested for alleged plans to kidnap and murder her.
