The Real Marigold Hotel

We love the The Real Marigold Hotel. Starring nine retired celebrities, the show takes them to their new home in Udaipur in India to experience a different kind of retirement.

If you've never seen the show before, it looks at how retirement could be for the famous senior citizens abroad in India. Along the way, the group face many challenges such as getting used to the diet and culture as well as living alongside one another.

Starring retirees Selina Scott (journalist and breakfast TV presenter), Susan George (film and TV actress), Stephanie Beacham (TV and film actress, most famous for Dynasty), Ian and Janette Tough (aka the Krankies), Syd Little (comedian), Peter Dean (actor, famous for playing Pete Beale in Eastenders), Bob Champion (former jockey) and Stanley Johnson (politician and author, dad of Boris Johnson), expect to see the stars eating traditional Indian Cuisine, playing cricket and polo as well as learning to live together as a group.
