If you've not seen it, the show follows the story of five friends bound together by a fragile pact of silence. When a young brewery boss is found dead, a chain of events is triggered that draws four of his employees into a fragile pact, bound by a secret that will change their lives forever. But what really happened that night in the woods?
Nancy - played by Julie Hesmondhalgh
Nancy is a worker at the brewery and has formed a friendship group with Anna, Louie and Cat.
You'll know doubt know Julie from playing Hayley Cropper in Coronation Street between 1998 and 2014. Since then, she has also been in Cucumber, Happy Valley and Broadchurch.
Anna - played by Laura Fraser
At the start of the series, Anna is hoping for a promotion at the brewery where she works until her boss is found dead. Her husband is also the police officer investigating the death!
You may recognise Laura if you're a fan of Breaking Bad and its spin off series, Better Call Saul.
Louie - played by Eiry Thomas
Louie works at the brewery and also has family ties to the business as her brother, Arwel is the former boss, and her nephew Jack recently took over. She's worked there for a long time doing a number of different jobs and knows the brewery inside out.
You'll probably recognise Eiry from Welsh drama series, Keeping Faith as well as other TV series including The Accident, Living a Lie and Belonging.
Cat - played by Heledd Gwynn
No nonsense Cat also works at the brewery, and she's previously spent some time in prison. She's relatively new at the brewery but still becomes involved in the pact.
Tish - played by Abbie Hern
Tish is fairly new compared to the other brewery workers, and when she finds herself going for the same supervisor role as Anna, she sometimes finds herself at odds with her co-workers.
When Jack is found dead, she begins to suspect her colleagues know more than they're letting on.
Max - played by Jason Hughes
Max is Anna's husband who has recently changed career to become a police officer and he's just been promoted to acting sergeant to help DS Holland with the mysterious investigation into Jack’s death.
You'll probably know Jason from playing Detective Sergeant Ben Jones in Midsomer Murders between 2005 and 2013.
DS Holland - played by Rakie Ayola
DS Holland is the Senior Investigating Officer into the mysterious death of Jack.
Rakie has made an appearance in a number of TV series inNoughts and Crosses, Shetland, Doctor Who and Black Mirror.
Arwel - played by Eddie Marsan
Arwel is the retired boss of the brewery who hands the role to his son Jack after retiring. He's forced to take back some responsibilities at the brewery when his son Jack is found dead.
Eddie has appeared in a number of TV and film roles including Mike Leigh’s Happy-Go-Lucky, as Terry Donovan on Ray Donovan, Mission: Impossible III, Sherlock Holmes, Little Dorrit, Criminal Justice and Vice.
Jack - played by Aneurin Barnard
Jack is found dead early on in the series shortly after a staff party. He's a bit of a volatile character at the centre of the mystery.
He's previously been in Cilla, The White Queen, War & Peace and SS-GB, Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk and also Hunky Dory,
Ryan - played by Aled ap Steffa
Ryan is Anna and Max's son. He's currently a student who loves being with his family.
He's previously been in the first series of Gangs of London.
Tasmin - played by Gabrielle Creevy
Tasmin is the daughter of Anna and Max and is the more difficult child compared to her brother Ryan, often getting herself in trouble at school.
She's been in the Channel 5 mystery drama 15 Days and is also set to star in the upcoming World War Two film Operation Mincemeat.
