From Fool Me Once to Missing You, in recent years we've been treated to numerous binge-worthy Harlan Coben Netflix adaptations and Run Away is next on the list! Based on the book of the same name, the crime-drama promises plenty of twists and turns.
This will be Coben's fifth British Netflix Original, following on from the hugely successful Missing You and Fool Me Once, which secured it's position as the most-watched show on the streaming platform in 2024, with a whopping 108M views worldwide.

Netflix have announced a star-studded cast for the new Run Away series, with James Nesbitt (Cold Feet, Bloodlands), Ruth Jones (Gavin & Stacey, Stella), Minnie Driver (Good Will Hunting, Tarzan) and Alfred Enoch (The Couple Next Door, Miss Austen) taking on lead roles.

What is Run Away about?
“Run Away is about family — about what we will do to keep our family intact, what secrets we keep within our family, and what secrets we keep as a family,” Harlan Coben told Tudum. “Every time you walk past the house, there’s a whole universe that goes on behind that door and none of us have a clue what it is.”

AmazonJames Nesbitt announced the new project on BBC Breakfast, telling viewers: "I start filming on Monday. We've got a read-through today of his new production called Run Away, which is just fantastic, vintage him. I think it really has got huge depth, unbelievable twists and turns.
"I play a successful businessman who's got a perfect life, a wonderful marriage, three children but then his eldest daughter Paige runs away. He finally gets a chance to find her, finds her strung out and vulnerable in a park. I think I have the opportunity to bring her home but she's not alone. And a terrible scene which descends into violence ensures and then I have to try and find her all over again. I can't wait."
