Nadine Marshall has become a familiar face in some of the best British dramas in recent years. Since the early 2000s, she’s appeared in beloved shows like Casualty and Death in Paradise, before landing bigger roles such as DCI Amanda Kelman in ITV's new series Protection.

Although she’s mostly recognised for her roles in dramas, Nadine Marshall’s breakthrough came with her portrayal of Sally in The Smoking Room from 2004 to 2005.

Protection

Nadine Marshall stars in Protection, a gripping crime thriller about "what happens when the clandestine and morally grey witness protection system breaks down". She plays DCI Amanda Kelman, who searches for the truth, along with DCI Hannah Wheatley (Katherine Kelly), after fellow officer Liz Nyles (played by Happy Valley's Siobhan Finneran) blurs the lines of professionalism, resulting in disastrous consequences.

Sherwood

You may recognise Nadine Marshall as Jenny Harris in Sherwood, the Nottinghamshire-based series heavily inspired by the crossbow attacks and miners' strikes. She was married to Jacob Harris (Dom Gilet) but had a reconnection with DI Kevin Salisbury (Robert Glenister), her former flame.

Trigger Point

In the first series of Trigger Point, Nadine Marshall played DSU Marianne Hamilton, a senior member of the Counter Terrorism Command, who managed DI Thom Youngblood (Mark Stanley) and DI Samira Desai (Majinder Virk). She also liaised with EXPO Lana Washington (Vicky McClure) from the bomb disposal unit.
