Joining Call the Midwife in season 10, Mrs Gertrude Wallace runs the church that Lucille and Cyril attend. Gertrude becomes a mother figure for Cyril (played by Zephryn Taitte), even helping him with his wedding suit fitting.
In series 11, Gertrude eventually starts a new dry-cleaning business. We're pleased to hear that Linda will be returning to the popular BBC show for season 12.
