We can hardly believe that the brilliant Giovanni Pernice, has been on our screens since 2015 as a professional dancer on Strictly Come Dancing.

Giovanni first appeared on our screens as a professional dancer on Strictly Come Dancing back in 2015. His first partner that year was Coronation Street actress Georgia May Foote who managed to reach the final with Giovanni – an impressive run for his first series!
Other famous dancing partners include presenter Laura Whitmore in 2016, Debbie McGee in 2017 who reached the final, 2018 with Steps star Faye Tozer, 2019 with TV star Michelle Visage, 2020 with journalist Ranvir Singh, 2021 with Rose Ayling-Ellis whom he won with and in 2022, he was in his first same-sex partnering with Richie Anderson.

They stole our hearts back in the 2021 series of Strictly with their touching and heart-warming performances. Rose was the shows first ever deaf contestant but she didn't let that stop her, and went on to win the series with her moving dance numbers.
The chemistry between Rose and Giovanni was undeniable, leading many to speculate if the pair were more than just dancing partners. The pair have denied this rumoured romance and have revealed they're just very good friends.
Following their Strictly Come Dancing win, Rose has campaigned endlessly for deaf communities, becoming the first person to sign the CBeebies bedtime story and work alongside Mattel to develop the first deaf Barbie doll.

He'll next be going on tour in 2024 in his show, Let Me Entertain You where he'll be performing a whopping 79 shows! As well as his own tour, he'll also be heading on tour with his close friend Anton Du Beke in their Anton & Giovanni Together Live Tour.
We loved seeing Anton Du Beke and Giovanni together in their recent travel series, Adventure's in Sicily which saw Giovanni give Anton a tour of his hometown of Sicily which you can now catch up with on BBC iPlayer.
