If you're looking for a gripping show, Prime Video's latest thriller, Fear, starring Line of Duty actor Martin Compston is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat.
Based on the 2018 book of the same name by Dirk Kurbjuweit, Martyn (Martin Compston) and his partner Rebecca (played by Anjili Mohindra from Bodyguard and The Suspect) are pushed to their limits when they move from London to Glasgow in hopes of a fresh start, but instead come face-to-face with every parent's worse nightmare.

Despite living in a beautiful home, everything becomes far from idyllic when they are tormented by their new intimidating neighbour Jan (Solly McLeod) who watches their every move.
Things escalate when the pair are accused of causing harm to their two young children. When the authorities refuse to step in, the couple feel that they are trapped and have nowhere to turn to for help.
During the premiere at the Glasgow Film Festival, the Line of Duty star said that the show is "a bit cleverer than your average thriller".
“It’s still quite scary, with the sort of ‘creepy neighbour’ and all that kind of thing, but it really pushes the boat out on sort of different aspects of it."

If that synopsis isn't enough to reel you in, check out the trailer for Fear which shows Martin Compston and Anjli's characters being recorded and watched by Jan through a series of cameras and laptops, before receiving a letter which details the alleged abuse of their son and daughter.
Martyn's father (played by James Cosmo from Braveheart and more recently, Nightsleeper) visits the home and tells his son, "I understand you have a situation. Protect your family".
So, what lengths will Martyn go to to keep his loved ones safe?
