There are some TV shows that leave a lasting impression on you and for us, the Line of Duty series is certainly one of those.
Starring actors Martin Compston as Steve Arnott and Vicky McClure as Kate Fleming, the BBC crime drama follows the investigations of AC-12, a controversial police anti-corruption unit.
Produced by World Productions, it’s got some serious accolades behind it too, the series won the Royal Television Society Award and Broadcasting Press Guild Award for Best Drama Series. ranked third in a Radio Times poll of the best British crime dramas of all time.
Line of Duty returned on Sunday 21st March 2021 at 9pm for its sixth series. This series of Line of Duty comprised of 7 episodes, making it the longest series to date.

Line of Duty series 6 cast
Vicky, Martin and Adrian are joined by actress Kelly Macdonald who played Detective Chief Inspector Joanne Davidson.
Speaking on Lorraine, Mercurio told viewers: "Kelly plays DCI Joanne Davidson, who is the Senior Investigating Officer on a high-profile murder that remains unsolved over a year after the killing, and AC-12 get involved because there are question marks over her investigation."
Joining Kelly in series six was Andi Osho (Kiri) and Prasanna Puwanarajah (Doctor Foster).
Series six also included a brand new character: DC Chloe Bishop, played by Shalom Brune-Franklin. In a press release shared on the Line Of Duty Twitter account, 'Hastings' issued a memo to the team introducing Shalom's character:
"I am writing to inform you that DC Chloe Bishop will be joining AC-12 to assist in their important work on a tricky upcoming case. This action will be effective immediately. AC-12 highest priority will always be capturing bent coppers. With that in mind, we have requested and been granted an extension of an extra episode for our next series, making it our longest yet. This extension ensures we can properly and thoroughly investigate organised criminal activity when we return soon to BBC One and BBC iPlayer for our sixth outing."
