Nicola Walker has reportedly signed up to star alongside Jemaine Clement in a brand new Disney+ comedy called Alice and Steve.
According to The Sun, the 54-year-old actress is "taking a break from dramas" after becoming a household name thanks to her lead roles in hit shows Unforgotten, Last Tango in Halifax and The Split.

Nicola Walker has recently appeared in Now TV's raunchy period drama Mary & George, as well as the two-part special of The Split.
Fans can see Nicola in the West End play Unicorn, which is about a couple who are looking for a third person to introduce into their relationship. Joining her (from The Split) is her onscreen husband Stephen Mangan and The Crown actress Erin Doherty.
Meanwhile, Jemaine Clement is a comedian and actor from New Zealand, who is best known for his works in the likes What We Do in the Shadows, Men in Black 3 and animations Moana and Rio.
Alice and Steve is said to come from the production company behind Baby Reindeer.
Little is known about the show yet, except that filming is due to take place in May 2025.
