Even if you have no plans to escape to another country yourself, Channel 4's A Place in the Sun offers us all the chance to daydream about what it would be like to buy a property abroad, providing buckets of inspiration along the way.

But if you're a fan of the popular show and its spin-off series A Place in the Sun: Home or Away?, how much do you know about the current hosts of the show?

Jasmine Harman

2004 - present

Jasmine Harman

Jasmine has recorded more episodes of A Place in the Sun – Home or Away than any other presenter of the show. She's obviously popular as since she joined the show in 2004 ratings have more than doubled and it is now broadcast in Europe, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.

She enjoys boxercise, salsa and Savante, and has been a vegetarian for 30 years.

Ben Hillman

2015 - present

Ben Hillman

Ben is one busy man! As well as presenting A Place in the Sun for Channel 4, he runs his own interior design business in Brighton and Hove and the South East.

He has recently completed his own self-build project in Brighton, facelifting a tired 1970's purpose-built block of flats and adding a new penthouse apartment on the flat roof.

Danni Menzies

2016 - present

Danni Menzies

Danni loves nothing more than being up to her knees in mud surrounded by the beautiful countryside.

Property development is truly a family affair for Danni and from an early age, she was involved with her family business, which grew from a caravan park and old farm buildings set on a 120 acre estate to nearly 50 buy-to-let holiday houses, a golf course, riding stables, a bar, restaurant and delicatessen.

Jonnie Irwin

2004 - present

Jonnie Irwin

In 2004, Jonnie was selected from hundreds of applicants along with co-presenter Jasmine to present A Place in the Sun – Home or Away.

11 years on, he can still be seen globetrotting and helping buyers find their dream homes on A Place In The Sun

Laura Hamilton

2011 - present

Laura Hamilton

A presenter for the show since 2011, Laura has a keen eye for a bargain, and passion for property renovation and interior design.

She bought her first property entirely self funded at just 19 and has renovated a string of successful properties ever since.

Laura has presented shows for the Winter Sun and Summer Sun series, as well as A Place in the Sun: Home or Away?

Scarlette Douglas

Scarlette began her property development in 2012, following in the footsteps of her eldest brother. She is now on her third property and she became the new face of A Place in the Sun in 2015.

Jean Johansson

Kenyan born Jean has bought and developed a number of properties. Married to Finnish football player, Jonatan Johansson, Jean has enjoyed a successful career presenting shows on CBBC and The Disney Channel.

Meet the new boy! Lee joined the show this year, despite first auditioning back in 2019. The property developer grew up in Windsor but he lived in Mauritius, where both of his families are from, from the ages of seven years old until he was ten.

On joining the show, he said: "I’m so excited to be joining Channel 4’s A Place in the Sun,’ he said. ‘After recently celebrating its 21st birthday, I’m honoured to be working on such a prestigious show alongside an incredible team.
