While we love reading a festive-themed story to get us excited for December 25, there are of course oodles of other 2022 book releases to choose from, whether you're partial to a thriller or war-time novel.

To help narrow down your choice, we've selected our favourite Christmas books to read in December (or earlier!) - whether it's for you personally or you're after some ideas to pop in a friend or family member's stocking.
