Sophie Knight was the Group Commercial Content Editor for Bauer Media, working across many of Bauer's high-profile brands including Mother&Baby, Yours, Heat, Closer, Empire, CAR, Parkers, MCN, and launching What's The Best. Having been in media for nearly two decades, Sophie was previously Digital Editor for Mother&Baby, Consumer Editor for Parkers.co.uk and worked on brands including Today's Golfer, CAR Magazine, Your Dog Magazine, and Teddy Bear Scene - so no subject is off-limits.

Sophie is a mum of two - Eli and Matilda - who often helped out with rigorous product reviewing at home. She's also a Reiki healer, patchwork quilter and coffee-lover - you know she has the answer when it comes to the best coffee machine or craft book for beginners.

Sophie is now a KGH teacher and launched Bourne Hypnobirthing in 2023, after having studied hypnobirthing techniques for both of her pregnancies. She's passionate about mental health – she is a trained Mental Health First Aider – and part of her love for hypnobirthing is the evidential positive impact on post-natal mental health.
