Sharon Reid is the Editor of Yours Retro magazine and the Yours Specials. She has over 35-years’ experience in all aspects of publishing. After starting her career as a junior designer on Sharon progressed through different departments before becoming editor of Yours magazine 12 years ago.
Sharon was instrumental in setting up the first Yours website and, eight years ago, helped launch Yours’ successful sister magazine Retro.
With a passion for all things vintage and a fascination with classic films and stars of Hollywood’s golden era Sharon decided to step down as Yours’ editor to focus on Retro. She enjoys learning all she can about the lives of the stars and shows of the Fifties, Sixties and Seventies.
Sharon is a keen reader and reviews and recommends books for Yours magazine. Outside of work Sharon enjoys crafts and is a keen walker, having spent the past year conquering the 110-mile Nene Way. She lives with her husband and a very mercurial tortoiseshell cat called Misty.
