Marion Wilding is ’65-years young’ as she puts it, and she is passionate about running – which she believes keeps her mind and body active. She will soon have completed all the seven Marathon Majors, which includes runs in New York, Boston, Tokyo, Berlin, London and Sydney, along with her friend Alison – which would make them the first ever group of people to have achieved this.

She does not believe age is a factor that can stop one from chasing dreams and fitness goals, raising money for charity or fostering children after having raised children and grandchildren of her own. Having recently ran the London Marathon with her daughter who’s in a wheelchair and her grandson, she considers these moments where she gets to share her love for running with her family to be very special. She aspires to continue to live life to the fullest and provide a loving home for her children.
