Gemma Lavers

Gemma is a Fitness, Fashion & Wellness Products Writer at Bauer Media. In this role, she focuses on anything from matcha to gym leggings to open-water swimming.

Gemma has been with Bauer Media since 2023 and has contributed to a number of titles, including Grazia, What’s The Best, Closer and heat. Before Bauer, she graduated from the University of Leeds with a First-Class degree in BA Journalism.

She has experience in marketing, social media and writing, and has produced content for various brands; including a London-based jewellery brand, a luxury second-hand handbag seller and Greatest Hits Radio. She’s also been an avid blogger since 2017, writing lifestyle articles for her own website, covering a range of topics, from sustainable fashion to the battle of gold and silver jewellery.

When Gemma’s not writing, she can be found attending Pilates classes, running, or trialling new home workouts.

If that wasn’t enough, between shopping (she’s a sucker for a statement coat), learning Polish, and rearranging her home décor (aka scrolling on the Oliver Bonas website), there’s nothing more she loves than hopping on a plane and exploring new cultures.
